This Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy) describes how Favor International, Inc., (“Favor,” “we,” “our” or “us”) gathers, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our websites (including FavorIntl.org), and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information our clients may process when using our Services.

This notice of our privacy policy is intended to help you understand our online information security practices. As a donor submitting personally identifying information (“Information”) to us or any of our staff, you consent to the terms and conditions of the policy and to our processing and use of Information for the purposes stated below.

You may have accessed Favor directly by visiting our website, the home page of which is located at www.FavorIntl.org, or through the website of one of our third-party partners. This notice applies to all information you submit to Favor, whether through the Favor website or through the website of one of our Partners.

Favor does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, and children under 13 are prohibited from using our Services. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, please report it.

1. Donor privacy protections

Favor makes every effort to protect donor and donation data, both online and offline. When you make a financial or in-kind donation, you provide your name and contact information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many circumstances, credit card data. We protect your information in a variety of ways, as described below. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. When you access our website, www.FavorIntl.org, for information or to make a donation, all of your access is protected by SSL encryption so that data you enter into contact or donation forms cannot be access by third parties. If you establish an account on our website, we do not know or store your password.

Many donors use credit cards for donations. We protect the security of credit card transactions using a number of measures such as SSL encryption, access controls, network firewalls, and physical security. These measures make it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept the credit card information you send to us. When we work with other companies to process credit card transactions, those companies also use encryption and other appropriate security measures. We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ personally identifiable information with any other entity, except as described elsewhere in this policy for limited and defined purposes. In addition, we will not send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. Favor has vendors that assist with processing and managing donations and donor data. We give these vendors access to donor data only for the purposes of fulfilling our services to you. Our vendors are bound by strict confidentiality rules and are permitted to use donor data only to support Favor’s operations. Favor agrees to and abides by the Donor Bill of Rights created by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Giving Institute: Leading Consultants to Non-Profits. In addition, Favor is held accountable by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability for the statements we make concerning the use, function, and impact of your donations. 2. Data we collect, cookies & tracking technology

Information includes data that identifies you personally, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address. We collect and store the personally identifiable information that you have provided us via one of the email addresses identified on our website or when you otherwise contact us in person, by phone or email, with a question. We collect your name, email address, and other contact information if you register for

an event. We also collect your name, email address, telephone number, and payment information when you make a contribution, either on our website, at a special event, over the phone or by mailing in a check. The above list provides a sample of personal information that may be collected by Favor. From time to time, we may collect personal information from you in ways not described above.

We may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number. Favor collects user submitted account information such as your email address to identify you and send you notifications related to your use of Favor’s services. Favor also collects user submitted location information such as city, state, or zip code.

Like most websites, we may gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. We may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. To collect this information, a cookie may be set on your computer or device when you visit our Services. Cookies contain a small amount of information that allows our web servers to recognize you. We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or clear gifs to record your preferences. We may also automatically collect information about your use of features of our Services, about the functionality of our Services, frequency of visits and other information related to your interactions with the Services. In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the information referenced above in this paragraph may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws.

When you use our Services, we may collect information about your engagement with and utilization of our Services. 3. Use of information & choices you have

We use the information we collect in various ways, including the following: communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to your relationship with and use of Favor’s Services, and for marketing and promotional purposes; process your transactions; find and prevent fraud; and for compliance purposes as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency.

We will collect payment information, billing address and other information necessary to process a donation or event registration. We will not send you mailings on behalf of other organizations.

You may unsubscribe from receiving certain promotional emails from us. If you wish to do so, simply follow the instructions found at the end of the email. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still contact you for informational, transactional, account-related or similar purposes.

Many browsers have an option for disabling cookies, which may prevent your browser from accepting new cookies or enable selective use of cookies.

4. How information may be shared

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. We do not, however, sell, rent or trade our volunteer, administrator, nonprofit, or general newsletter email addresses to outside parties. Except as described in this Privacy Policy or at the time we request the information, we do not otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties.

For Donors Giving Through PayPal Giving Fund

We have partnered with PayPal Giving Fund, an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) public charity. PayPal Giving Fund receives donations in support of other nonprofit organizations and typically grants those funds to recommended charities within 15-45 days, or 90 days, if the charity isn't enrolled with PayPal Giving Fund. Favor maintains a PCI compliant

website and all sensitive consumer data is securely transmitted directly to PayPal Giving Fund without it passing through our servers.

When donating to support a nonprofit organization with PayPal Giving Fund on Favor, PayPal Giving Fund will receive the donor's name and information for all donations. Favor offers donors the option not to share their name and information with the recipient nonprofit organization, and when donating via a Favor Fundraiser, to withhold their name and information from the creator of the fundraiser. If a donor chooses to share their name and information, Favor will make this information available to the recipient nonprofit organization and to the creator of the fundraiser if the donation was made via a Favor Fundraiser.

For Newsletter Subscribers

We may use our email lists for sending out our newsletter and other Favor outbound communications, such as product enhancements, tool upgrades, or membership news. Additionally, for volunteers with a personal account who have accessed Favor through www.FavorIntl.org or a Partner's website:If you indicate to us that you are interested in creating a personalized account, the information we gather from you will be used to permit you to: access the account, customize outbound email services, review your referral history and/or post a resume that can be sent as an attachment to inquiries you make using the Favor service.

Subscriptions to Favor newsletters are optional and Favor allows nonprofit organizations, volunteers, subscribers, or other users to unsubscribe from newsletters at any time. In each newsletter we provide instructions regarding how to opt-out from receiving future newsletter mailings. You can also email us at privacy@FavorIntl.org to remove your name from our newsletter subscription database and ensure that you will cease receiving future newsletters from us.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Favor service, such as the occasional service and product announcement or administrative message, that are considered part of your Favor account without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

For Nonprofit Organizations

If you submit Information to us as a nonprofit organization, then, subject to the terms and conditions as a nonprofit member of Favor, your Information (including your EIN number) will be accessible by anyone who accesses Favor. In addition, we may share your Information, including your EIN number, with selected Partners in order to verify your organization's identity and tax status.

Children's Privacy

We welcome users of all ages, including children under the age of thirteen. Due to our status as a non-profit organization, we are not required to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). However, we strongly encourage our users aged thirteen and under to use our website only with parental consent.

Cookies

Cookies are tiny data files that websites commonly write to your hard drive when you visit them so that they can remember you when you visit. A cookie file contains information that can identify you anonymously and maintain your account's privacy. In those cases, we take reasonable steps to ensure that these providers do not use or otherwise disclose any Information we collect about you except for the purpose of fulfilling their service obligations to us and our Partners.

In the unlikely event that Favor undergoes a sale or transfer of all or substantially all of its assets, the acquiring entity will be subject to this Privacy Policy in its use of your personally identifiable Information. In addition, in the further unlikely event that Favor is adjudicated bankrupt or insolvent (a) there will be no further use or disclosure of your personally identifiable Information by Favor, and (b) your personally identifiable Information will be destroyed. In addition, there will be no use or disclosure of your personally identifiable Information by any entity that acquires assets of Favor pursuant to such bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings.

Your privacy is very important to us. Due to factors beyond our control, however, we cannot fully ensure that your Information will not be disclosed to third parties. For example, we may be legally obligated to disclose Information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may circumvent our security measures to unlawfully intercept or access your Information.

5. Legal basis for processing personal information

Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. We have a legitimate interest in operating our Services and communicating with you as necessary to provide these Services, for example when responding to your queries, improving our reporting platform, undertaking marketing ,or for the purposes of detecting or preventing illegal activities.

In some cases, we may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from you or may otherwise need the personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person. If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal information is mandatory or not (as well as of the possible consequences if you do not provide your personal information).

Favor is committed to protecting your information. We collect and maintain a minimum of Information to fulfill our mutual mission and to fulfill the terms of your gifts. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of Information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Information we collect online.

We use a variety of security technologies and measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal information. However, please bear in mind that the internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so.
