Favor takes Portable Bible Schools and the Jesus Film into cattle camps, and raises pastors from the tribes that move with the herds.
Nomadic cattle keepers do not sit still for a church calendar. Camps move with water and grazing. Favor’s teams go to the camp. The nomadic lifestyle raises hard problems for outreach. The Jesus Film in the people’s own language has been one of the things that closes the gap.
Daniel’s Mundari people are one of those groups. He raided and fought with his tribesmen until an evangelism team reached his camp. He now trains other former warriors from that same life to plant churches that can move when the cattle move.
Portable Bible Schools are built for this. They last two months, they land in a rural place, and they leave behind people who can teach. A hut or a tree is enough for a first congregation.
Unreached nomadic groups sit inside the Sahel and the 10/40 window as well. The method does not change: indigenous leaders, local language, prayer covering, and a church that belongs to that tribe.
