African pastors and teachers reach villages and tribes others will not. Favor exists to train them, send them, and stand behind them.
Favor is an indigenous missionary movement. The people preaching under the tree, riding the motorcycle to the next village, and teaching the Portable Bible School are African leaders, not visiting Western staff.
Daniel fought alongside his nomadic Mundari tribesmen in South Sudan. At nineteen he lost all purpose. A Favor evangelism team walked into his cattle camp. He now leads Portable Bible Schools and trains other former warriors to plant churches in their own villages.
That pattern repeats. Former child soldiers, former Muslims, mothers in women’s groups, and PBS graduates become the pastors of places with no church last year. They speak the language. They know the chiefs. They stay.
US partners fund the motorcycle, the Bibles, the training, and the rice. Field leaders do the going. That division of labor is the whole model.
